Slow Wine Event in Chicago

Get your complimentary copy of the English Edition of the Italian Slow Wine Guide and a commemorative wine glass from “Slow Food and Slow Food Chicago”. Slow Wine which adopts a new approach to wine appreciation and looks at a variety of factors to evaluate wineries: wine quality, adherence to terroir, value for money, environmental sensitivity and ecologically sustainable viticultural practices.

Spiaggia on Michigan Avenue in Chicago will host a wine tasting featuring over 100 wines from 45 Italian Slow Wine producers on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 6 – 8:30 pm. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Slow Food Chicago.
