Wine enthusiasts and gourmands can meet renowned national and international luminaries in the culinary and wine worlds at the grand, historic Wentworth by the Sea Hotel in New Castle, New Hampshire in March 2012.

It one of the New Hampshire‘s surviving Gilded Age grand hotels, and the one last located on the seacoast.

The Great Island of New Castle, New Hampshire is 1 hour north of Boston and 1 hour south of Portland.

There are seven-weeks of events that include: Grand vintner’s dinners, flight nights, rare vintage tastings, celebrity chefs and winemakers, classes, Bubbles and Jazz Sunday brunches, and educational seminars with notable oenophiles will offer something for everyone.

Spellbound and Medusa Winery Grand Vintner’s Dinner with Guest Chef Simon Lampert of Four Restaurant

Reception at 6 pm with passed hors d’ouevres. Four course dinner beginning at 7 pm.
Geoff Whitman, co-owner and assistant winemaker of Spellbound and Medusa wineries, will be teaming up with Executive Chef/co-owner of Four Restaurant, Simon Lampert. Geoff spent his early childhood and teenage years living in nearby Dover, NH before moving to Santa Barbara to purse his passion for wine. Napa Valley based Spellbound winery specializes in creating luscious everyday drinking wine while Medusa wines are committed to crafting single-vineyard, old-vine zinfandel from some of California’s best appellations. His very close friend, Robert Mondavi, Jr. is the founder and winemaker for both wineries. Chef Simon Lampert has become a staple of the seacoast culinary scene.
