“The Promenade of Art returns for its tenth year with 150 acclaimed artists from around the country.  Offerings include ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, wood and furniture. Throughout the weekend festival-goers will enjoy interactive art demos and booth chats from exhibiting artists, live music and a great selection of dining experiences.”

2. The Art Center’s Festival of Fine Craft in Highland Park, Illinois

 Jun 23 – Jun 24, 2012 • Sat & Sun

10-5 daily

“This two-day outdoor celebration of the visual arts features the juried exhibition of gallery quality fine craft. Visitors can meet, interact with, view and purchase art from the artists who created it. Art activities for children, live musical performances, a silent auction and festival food make this a not-to-miss art event.” This event benefits The Art Center, a non-profit school and gallery.
