Passionate baseball fans should make the pilgrimage to Cooperstown, New York to visit the famous National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. It is located at 25 Main Street.

“The Hall of Fame was founded in 1939 by Stephen Carlton Clark, the owner of a local hotel. Clark sought to bring tourists to a city hurt by the Great Depression, which reduced the local tourist trade, and Prohibition, which devastated the local hops industry. The Hall of Fame was dedicated on June 12, 1939.”

The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown is gearing up for another year of new inductions.

They’re adding three more “Hall of Famers”

during the induction ceremony this weekend.Their mission is: “Preserving history, honoring excellence and connecting generations.” The Hall of Fame chronicals the story of baseball and its key players throughout history.

Have breakfast in town before the Museum opens and chit chat with the locals.
