“On Saturday, April 19, Appellation St Helena (ASH), representing more than 50 St. Helena wineries and 25 vineyards, in partnership with the Culinary Institute of America, Visit Napa Valley, Arts Council Napa Valley and the St. Helena Chamber of Commerce presents BASH.

This annual food and wine pairing competition features Appellation St. Helena wines, and the culinary arts of our great restaurants and food purveyors as part of “Napa Valley Arts in April.”

Held in the Barrel Room of the CIA, wineries and chefs collaborate to offer savory bites from a variety of St. Helena restaurants, and caterers as well as ‘Rising Star’ CIA students selected by the teaching staff of the Culinary Institute of America.

No ordinary wine tasting, the event specifically pairs a restaurant or one of the CIA student teams with a wine from an ASH winery. Small bites are meticulously prepared to complement the wine and delight your senses. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite pairing. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event.” (details from website)

Tickets are now available for purchase. Early bird tickets are $80, increasing to $90 as of March 1st. A bASH Group 10 pack ticket is $750.
